Centered on Lincoln Road Mall and Lenox and Michigan Avenues, the show features around 100 Florida dealers who specialize in funky clothes, classic home furnishings, and some pretty unusual curiosities. Even if you’re not in the market for anything special, the people watching at this all day event is top notch.

Who’s Who…

Top South Beach DJs comb the market early in search of old school vinyl records. Celebrity fashion stylists create their signature looks from vintage Gucci, Pucci and Fiorucci frocks hanging on racks all around the mall. Many of Miami’s big name interior designers meet their favorite dealers as they unload their trucks to get first dibs on Danish Modern, Art Deco and Machine Age treasures culled from South Florida’s finest estate sales. Reading local shelter magazines, you’ll notice that Lincoln Road Market is frequently mentioned as a source for one-of-a-kind objects that add character to Miami’s most fashionable homes.

Post-Shopping Brunch…

Sundays at the mall are always laid back and casual with families, singles and adorable small dogs wandering around in search of the perfect spot for Sunday brunch. The smart barkeep at Finnegan’s Too Pub (942 Lincoln Road) turns his flat screen TVs out toward the breezy sidewalk tables to tempt football fans away from the shopping scene for a few beers during weekend matches.  Favorite Sunday sidewalk lunch stops include Segafredo Zanetti (1040 Lincoln Road), Balans UK (1022 Lincoln Road), Cafe at Books & Books (927 Lincoln Road), Ice Box Cafe (1657 Michigan Avenue) and Van Dyke Cafe (846 Lincoln Road).

While some South Beach scenesters party all Saturday night and sleep in on Sunday, there’s a whole lot of shopping going on at the Outdoor Antique & Collectible Market you won’t want to miss!

Show Dates for 2010 are subject to cancellation in the event of bad weather – February 24, March 14, 28, April 11, 25 and May 9.
